Did you know that walking is an excellent form of exercise...and it is cheap? All you need is a good pair of shoes and a place to walk. Now that the weather outside is warming up, it is even easier to reach your 10,000 steps per day.
Not motivated? Try buying a pedometer such as FitBit or invite a walking buddy to walk with you. Just remember to start out slow and build up your distance and/or time.
If it is raining and you need to find a spot to exercise try your local park district or walk around in a big box store such as Target or Menards.
Get out and walk! Your body will be happy you did.
